We are excited to announce that Geoff Crocker (Basic Income Forum) and Chris Thoung (Cambridge Econometrics) are giving a webinar to the EU on Universal Basic Income (UBI) on Wednesday 31st January at 14:00 (GMT).

The CTNTE has long-standing ties to Geoff and Chris – both participated in our Policies to Tackle the Cost-of-Living Crisis conference, and worked in collaboration with us on the report Macroeconomic implications of basic income.

The webinar will focus on UBI in the European Union, and includes additional speakers from the ITSA Foundation and the European Commission. It is a great opportunity to learn more about UBI, how it works, as well as the benefits and challenges of implementing UBI in Europe.

The event is entirely free of charge, and everyone is welcome to join!

The webinar, hosted on Webex, is available via this link: European Parliament Webex: UBI Webinar.
