Maria Nikolaidi is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Greenwich. She is also a Fellow at the Forum for Macroeconomics and Macroeconomic Policies (FMM) and a member of the committee of the Post-Keynesian Economics Society (PKES). Maria Nikolaidi was a Research Associate at the New Economics Foundation (NEF) from 2014 to 2016. Her research interests include financial fragility, macroeconomic policy, bank regulation and ecological macroeconomics. She has been invited to present her work on these areas at various conferences and workshops. Her research articles have been published in Ecological Economics, the Journal of Economic Surveys, Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, the International Review of Applied Economics and the European Journal of Economics and Economic Policies: Intervention. Maria Nikolaidi has worked on externally funded projects on ecological macroeconomic modelling and the links between income distribution and growth. She received the 2016/7 University of Greenwich Early Career Research Excellence Award.
